STS Companion ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
Study data: Your study progress, review question answers, personal notes, text highlights, and app settings are stored to sync across sessions.
Subscription data: Your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which communicates with Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly process or store payment card details.
Usage data: We may collect basic usage analytics (e.g. which features are used) to improve the App. This data is anonymised and cannot identify you personally.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the App.
Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
